Joining the Women’s Fund

Becoming the Senior Community Leadership Officer at Women’s Fund felt like a deep alignment with my values, lived experiences, and the light I want to carry into the world.

I believe in the power of women and girls. I believe in the impact of when we truly listen, invest, and follow our lead. I believe in doing this work with strategy, intention, and care.

What drew me to this role is the Women’s Fund’s bold focus on gender equity and theway it leads as both a funder and a community collaborator.

Aligning Values & Vision

Strong community leadership is about accountability, sharing power, amplifying underrepresented voices, and being willing to question the systems that affect the most
vulnerable.

As we strive towards equity for women and girls, we have to build together by listening, being actively engaged, and creating space for others to lead.

Hope & Commitment in Action

I think often of the women and girls with limited resources and heavy hearts who are organizing, creating, resisting, and reimagining our future.

I’m committed to listening and learning, leading with intention, honoring the legacy of those before me, and supporting the next generation of changemakers.

I feel encouraged by the growing momentum of people and organizations recognizing the need for change, and choosing to invest in it.

Words of Encouragement

“Don’t be afraid. Be focused. Be determined. Be hopeful. Be empowered.”

– Michelle Obama
