Guidelines for Recognizing Women’s Fund for a Grant

Guidelines
1) About Women’s Fund of Central Indiana (boilerplate)
- Copy to use in press releases, websites, and programs:
Women’s Fund of Central Indiana answers the call of community by investing in systems change, advocating for women’s rights, and building collective power for women and girls.
Women’s Fund of Central Indiana is highly regarded as the most influential organization creating transformative and sustainable change for women and girls in Central Indiana. Women’s Fund creates options and opportunities in Central Indiana through transformative grants to effective nonprofit organizations and philanthropy education for donors. 2) Logo use
- Use only the official logo file. Do not stretch, crop, recolor, or add effects.
- Clear space: keep at least the height of the “W” around the logo.
- Minimum size: print 1.0 inch wide; digital 180 px wide.
- Color: use full-color on light backgrounds; white-knockout on dark; black only if color is unavailable. (Email RebekahC@cicf.org for white-knockout or black only formats)
3) Acknowledgment language
- Use one of these in the first mention of the grant in public materials:
“This program is made possible by a grant from Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a fund of CICF.”
“With support from Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a fund of CICF, we…” - For websites, please hyperlink “Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a fund of CICF” to www.womensfund.org.
- Always use “Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a fund of CICF” on first reference, and “Women’s Fund” on all following references.
4) Press and media
- Press releases: please send a draft that mentions our support at least three business days before publishing. We’ll return comments within two business days.
- Quotes: we’re happy to provide an official quote. Email us the angle, audience, and deadline.
- Media inquiries: loop us in if a reporter requests funding details or data sourced from our materials.
- Embargoes: if you plan a timed announcement, share the embargo date/time when you send your draft.
5) Social media recognition
- Tag us in social media posts:

- Facebook: @womensfund
6) Storytelling
We love to amplify your work, particularly work that our grants helped fund.
- We invite you to send us your stories and photos.
- Can be shared any time throughout the year.
- Ensure you have permission to share all content.
- By sharing your content with us, you give Women’s Fund consent to reshare through its channels, including social media, website, and newsletters
