Maria M. Quintana
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, GOVERNMENT, NOT-FOR-PROFIT & HEALTHCARE, J.P. MORGAN
Maria has held a variety of leadership positions in Retail and Commercial Banking. She has managed the Government Not-for-Profit and Healthcare business for the past 12 years. These clients have annual revenue ranging from $10 million to $2 billion. During Maria’s 32 years she has helped to finance and advise on many of the State of Indiana’s most significant transactions.
Under her leadership, she has recruited and developed a dynamic team of bankers and has established the firm as the market leader in Indiana. Maria’s current role allows her to focus on key strategic initiatives for the firm, government relations, developing the brand in the community and expanding relationships. She currently serves as vice-chair of the JPMC National Government Council, and chairs its Brand Awareness committee.
Maria is a native Hoosier and an active member of the business community. Maria currently serves as the treasurer of the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and serves on its executive, compensation and investment committees; is a trustee for the IU Medical Group; Independent Colleges of Indiana; the Indianapolis Marion County Building Authority; the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana; and the United Way of Central Indiana where she is a member of the Strategic Planning Task Force and Tocqueville Committees.
Her community activities in the past include trustee for the Wishard Memorial Foundation; John Boner Community Center; Habitat for Humanity; Indiana CPA Society; Community Centers of Indianapolis; and the Directors Circle for St. Elizabeth Coleman.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, where she also majored in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. She earned her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Maria was recognized in 2011 with the Center for Leadership Development Minority Business & Professional Achievers Award for Achievement in Financial Services. The Indianapolis Business Journal’s Women of Influence honored her success in 2010.
