Kelly Krauskopf
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND GENERAL MANAGER, INDIANA FEVER


Kelly Krauskopf is in her thirteenth season as the leader of the Indiana Fever. The highest-ranking female professional sports executive in Indianapolis, she was hired in 1999 to assemble the WNBA franchise in Indianapolis. Kelly has been the guiding force of the Fever from building the team roster to managing and building the franchise business. Kelly has been in the forefront of the development of the WNBA and was the WNBA’s first Director of Basketball Operations. She also serves on USA Basketball’s Women’s Senior National Team Committee, helping to select from WNBA players for U.S. Olympic Team rosters.

Kelly’s career in developing and building women’s sports programs spans 20 years starting with intercollegiate sports administration. Her first professional endeavor for women began at her alma mater, Texas A&M University, where she founded and organized the first women’s fund raising organization, the Maroon Club, to benefit Texas A&M women’s sports programs. She served as a Conference assistant commissioner for five years and she also worked in marketing and sales for a Dallas-based advertising agency and a sports marketing company.

Kelly earned a BA in journalism from Texas A&M University where she was a basketball student athlete. A native Texan, Kelly arrived in Indianapolis in 1999 and has served on various committees including the President’s Council, Indiana Sports Corp., NCAA Women’s Final Four Host committee, NFHS Advisory Board, Big10 LOC
