Julie S. Eskenazi
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER

Julie is a member of the OPTIONS Class 7 and served as co-chair for the WF Society for several years, doing fundraising, special events and cultivating new members. Julie received a BA from Colorado College and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from University of Chicago. She has taught elementary school and has held various social services jobs. Julie was a VISTA Volunteer in Chicago after graduating from college, where she worked with homeless youth and with an illiteracy project.

Julie is a Past President of the Park Tudor Parents Association, and has been involved with various special events, fundraising and events for the school in the last eleven years. She is currently serving as President of Women for Riley, a fundraising and philanthropic women's group for Riley Hospital.

Julie became involved with Women's Fund after being inspired by the mission, which resonated with her. She feels that the majority of organizations Women's Fund helps requires active participation of the recipient to move forward and continue on a positive road, and in doing so, it is helping break the cycle of poverty and abuse.

Originally hailing from Los Angeles, California, Julie has lived in central Indiana for sixteen years since marrying her husband, David Eskenazi. They have three daughters who have GO Funds and are involved with GO: Give Back.
