Charlie Morgan
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & MARKET MANAGEREMMIS COMMUNICATIONS
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Charlie is a graduate of Butler University. Charlie is currently Senior Vice President/Market Manager for Emmis Indianapolis (WIBC, WFNI, WLHK, WYXB, Network Indiana). Charlie also worked for two years as President/COO of IMS Productions and for 23 years with Susquehanna Radio (WFMS, WJJK, WRRM) including six as Vice President/Market Manager.
In addition to Women's Fund, Charlie's current board service includes Indiana Repertory Theatre, Civic Theatre, Salvation Army, Indiana Broadcaster's Association, Radio Broadcasters of Indianapolis, and Country Radio Broadcasters. Recent additional service includes Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and The 500 Festival. Charlie is a 2000 graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series.
Charlie is co-chair of the Communications Advisory Committee. As a father, husband and son, strong, successful women have played a huge role in his life, so he wants to help insure that women have all of the same opportunities for success, involvement, and philanthropy. Charlie is married to Kelly Smith and has two children.
