We are the expert resource for issues impacting women and girls in central Indiana.

Women's Fund is a community of donors, volunteers, and staff invested in women and girls in central Indiana. We believe a strong, successful woman results in a successful family, resulting in a stronger community.

We provide grants and teach philanthropy focused on women and girls in central Indiana.

We are the expert resource for women and girls in central Indiana. We are:
  • Transforming the lives of women and girls through grants to effective not-for-profits.
  • Providing a lasting impact for women and girls today, and always, through a permanent endowment and philanthropic education.
  • Researching, compiling, and communicating the challenges facing women and girls in our community.

Our mission

Women's Fund creates options and opportunities for women and girls in central Indiana through the effective distribution of grants to women and girl serving organizations and through the philanthropic engagement and education of current and potential donors.

Issues that Matter
Women's Fund of Central Indiana currently focuses our funding on organizations addressing:
  • Domestic violence
  • Caregiving
  • Insufficient income
  • Girls' needs
Our long-term interests also include organizations addressing health.

Getting a Grant
Step 1: Does your organization and proposal match Women's Fund's priorities? Review our current funding guidelines and needs assessments to confirm.
Step 2: Access applications and instructions, available in spring 2010.
Step 3: Carefully review and submit your completed proposal by the stated deadlines.

Philanthropy Education

GO: Give Back
Philanthropy education for children in 1st through 12th grade.
GO combines philanthropy education with charitable giving, teaching children to make thoughtful and meaningful contributions to the community.

OPTIONS
A philanthropy education program engaging women age 25 to 45 in meaningful exploration of personal and group philanthropy and the needs of women and girls in our community.
OPTIONS is a year-long program featuring monthly meetings, where participants join in educational classroom sessions and site visits to women and girl serving organizations in central Indiana.
